Issues: Minors and Children Education
Our kids are our future -- and our area schools are some of the best in the state. I'm proud of my record of supporting our kids, which includes voting for school funding increases and mechanisms for ensuring our kids are safe. I voted to strengthen and restructure public employee pensions, including those of our great Minnesota educators, voted to significantly increase funding for safe schools, allowing local school districts to make investments in needed security enhancements and updates, and voted for historic school funding increases.
